So, for those of you who didn't know...I used to write poetry, all the time. I stopped for a while though, I'm not sure why, but I did. I was bored at work on Friday, so I decided to do an activity that I used to do all the time, to get the creative juices flowing. It pretty much just starts off with one thought, and goes from there. Enjoy!! :P
Stuck...
Standing Still.
Time is the essence,
The essence is time.
Still, nothing will change after this next rhyme.
oh, did i say next?
I meant first.
The start,
The beginning.
But having a beginning means there must be an end
Of course, unless you're a circle.
However my friend,
All good things must come to an end.
Does this mean circles are evil?
Good and Evil,
Two polar opposites.
Like Heaven and Hell
Skinny and Fat
Dog and Cat
Although those are both animals.
A dog is a man's best friend.
But what about cats and women?
They are mere victoms of segregation due to their independence.
They find content and happiness within themselves.
But what exactly is happiness?
How does one fine it?
Maybe there's a map?
But where do you find that?
It's all just a big game of cat and mouse.
Mice, underappreciated creatures of the world,
Trying to get by however they can,
Just to get stopped in their tracks by man...kind (i think not).
But tell me, what makes their life less valuable than ours?
How do you put a value on life?
It can't be bought at a store, it's not the same as clothes.
Clothing defines you as a person
They show where you come from
They may even be your "addiction" your "perscription"
Which, if you ask me, is better than drugs.
Drugs run down your body
Which is supposed to be your temple.
But shit happens.
That's when you hire a new architect, a safe outlet.
Dancing, running, golfing, swimming...
All ways to let out stress to help you cope with life.
Helping you achieve this happiness we're all in search of before it ends.
There's that subject again,
The ending.
Which is exactly what this is.
I know that's really random, but I'm a random person. haha. I will make a legit entry either later tonight, or tomorrow sometime updating on life. :]
