This entire quarter, I have been saying to myself "I can't wait for summer to get here, I can't wait for school to end." Now that it's here however, I don't feel the same way. All weekend I have been saying to myself "dang, it's already week 9?" Where did weeks 1-8 go? It's time to shift life into gear and finish strong to make the end of my first year the best it can be.
This past weekend was a very eventful one. I started off friday by hanging out with some high school people that I haven't hung out with since graduation. We caught up on life, chilled, and had fun. Saturday turned out to be all about school day, although it wasn't supposed to be, I thankful it turned out that way because I needed to get some stuff done. Sunday was spent with my MCIA fambam in San Diego for AphiO's dance comp, and I'll just like to say, we totally killed it. Monday we had our first, and final, legit Zeta Skank hang out. We went to Huntington Library, ate dinner, played apples to apples, and just enjoyed our time together while we can still say "we're newbies."
Now that the weekend is over, this week has so much in store for me. It's going to put me on an emotional rollercoaster for sure, test my time management abilities, and probably help me grow as a person.
Tonight was the last practice of the complete Zeta year team.
Tomorrow is the last performance of Zeta year.
Thursday night is our banquet and the announce ment of the Eta year cabbie.
Friday night is the start of our weekend, end of the year, retreat.
Plus, I still have school, work, and people that i want to spend time with before this year commences.
Looking at the brightside of things though, I can honestly say, I'm happy. There's some stuff I haven't included in here that's new in my life, but if you want to know, feel free to ask me. Also, let me know if you're going to be here over the summer!! So I can know who I need to hurry and see before the year ends and who will be here with me over the summer. :]
